# Account Deletion

The account deletion procedure requires special attention. To avoid errors, we introduced an internally managed process. *Before proceeding, we verify the reasons for the request.*

If the account belongs to the System owner, deleting it will also result in the deletion of the System and all related data.

If the account belongs to a secondary user, you can request its deletion from the technician who configured the system.

## Request deletion

The deletion request can be sent directly from the app. Alternatively, you can contact support at <help@ohmautomation.io>.

To send a deletion request, go to the app settings and open the *Account* section.

Once in the *Account* section, scroll down to the *Delete Account* option.

A window will open where you will be asked to provide the reason for your request.

Tapping *Send Request* will start the verification process.
